Franchise, agency, or direct —
one coordination layer for all three
Different markets run different distribution models, and most OEMs run more than one at the same time. A coordination layer supports each of them without the manufacturer replacing the dealer's or distributor's DMS.
Franchise / dealer network
The traditional model: independent dealers and importers hold the customer relationship and the stock. A coordination layer sits on top — feeding a brand-compliant configurator, accurate on-road pricing, and finance into every dealer site while reading and writing back to each dealer's existing DMS. The dealer keeps their system; the OEM gets consistency.
Agency model
The OEM owns pricing and the order, and the dealer acts as a fixed-margin agent fulfilling delivery. This needs one source of truth for price, configuration, and order state across the network. The coordination layer enforces OEM-set pricing centrally while still routing the order, the test drive, and the handover through the local agent's systems.
Direct-to-consumer (D2C)
The OEM sells directly online and uses dealers (or delivery partners) for logistics, service, and handover. The coordination layer runs the storefront, configurator, finance, and on-road costs end to end, then hands the fulfilment leg to the local partner's DMS — so going direct doesn't mean ripping out the network or rebuilding it in-house.
The common thread: the OEM controls brand and, where the model calls for it, pricing — centrally. Each dealer, importer, or agent keeps their own DMS for stock, fulfilment, and service. Because Vyro is integration-first, switching or blending models market by market doesn't mean rebuilding anyone's systems.
