How we got here
Vyro didn't start as software. It started on the front line of selling cars.
We started as an online dealership.
We built an online EV car retailer and sold real cars to real customers. We helped a bunch of new EV brands enter Australia and navigate our complex state-by-state tax and pricing structures. Working with major brands, we learned what actually breaks when selling vehicles digitally at scale—inventory sync, finance, trade-ins, customer drop-offs. Not in a demo. In production.
The Turning Point
Our first client approached us with a simple question: "Can we use what you've built?" They didn't want advice—they wanted the platform. We white-labelled Vyro, rebuilt it for enterprise use, and deployed it nationally. That validated two things: this problem was global, and the solution was a modular layer that worked with existing ecosystems.
The Pivot
Vyro exited retail entirely and became a pure software company. We secured contracts across 18+ brands, expanded into Ireland and Europe, and proved that manufacturers and dealers would pay recurring revenue for this platform. Being a retailer was never the end goal—it was the fastest way to discover the truth.
